‘Teach and Learn’ The Youth Rally Engagement Resources
The Youth Rally Subscribe Teach and virtual presentation and resources is an opportunity to engage with and evaluate how the efforts of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Rally Founder Dr. Leola Bullock, and youth have ‘ARE’ and can change the world.
The objective(s) of the material included is intended to:
Help students understand the impact of figures like Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Leola Bullock, youth, and others had on the Civil Rights Movement and their significance in culture and history.
Promoting empathy and encouraging the appreciation of differences.
Encouraging acts of kindness, love and fostering inclusion.

You can watch The Rally in full, choose a segment, or pause after each part to give scholars a chance to fill out the 'Subscription' pledge card.
Example: "I, Marcus Littleton, subscribe to promote love by committing to sit and stand in unity with others, just as they did with Elizabeth Eckford on the bench that day."
Debrief: Discuss with a partner or group (small or large). Participants can create or choose a subscription someone else wrote to focus on each day, week, month, etc.
