"MLK to Me" was the Rally’s 2023 platform to engage and showcase diverse voices, backgrounds, and professions, inspiring them to consider his life, work, and what Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy meant to them. Submissions were a testament to the impact of his legacy, ranged from disappointment in dreams not being realized to frustration, hope, belief, and personal responsibility to invest and preserve, moving us forward beyond hate to the Beloved Community first coined by philosopher-theologian Josiah Royce and Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. Leola Bullock, and so many more strive for.
